FRANKENSTEIN 3000: Covers Album To Include Guest Appearances By NY DOLLS, THE RUNAWAYS Members

East Coast hard rockers FRANKENSTEIN 3000 will release their covers CD, "America's Hit Remakers", on October 4. Starting September 6, it will be available on a limited basis via the Main Man Recordsweb site and exclusively at Vintage Vinyl in Fords, NJ. The 17-song set includes the band's version of THE NEW YORK DOLLS' "Babylon", featuring DOLLS singer David Johansen on vocals, as well as THE RUNAWAYS' "American Nights", with RUNAWAYS singer Cherie Currie on vocals. Other special guests include Cheetah Chrome from THE DEAD BOYS, GENERATION X guitarist Derwood Andrews, "Handsome" Dick Manitoba from THE DICTATORS, Leif Garrett, and new DOLLS guitarist Steve Conti.
